People Operations Manager / Junior HR Business Partner at Asymmetric.re

As we continue to grow rapidly, we are looking for a highly organized and proactive People Operations Manager / Junior HR Business Partner to help us scale our global, distributed team while maintaining our high standards of trust and professionalism.

What you'll be doing

• Serve as the primary point of contact for our global team, managing daily people operations and providing essential support to both employees and contractors.
• Administer our people systems, including onboarding and offboarding processes, record-keeping, and benefits management, while partnering with Employer of Record providers to ensure local compliance.
• Develop and refine our internal policies and programs to ensure consistency across our various organizations, while jumping into cross-functional projects to support our fast-paced environment.

What you'll bring

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong background in global People Operations and a passion for building efficient, scalable processes. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience managing global operations for employees and contractors across the US and EMEA, ideally within a fast-paced technology or Web3 startup.
• A solid understanding of employment law and contractor regulations, paired with the ability to provide foundational advice throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Exceptional proficiency with modern collaboration tools, specifically Google Workspace, Notion, and Slack.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• The ability to work independently in a remote setting and the flexibility to collaborate across time zones ranging from Central European Time to Pacific Time.
