The opportunity
We are looking for a Senior People Operations Business Partner to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will act as a strategic consultant, helping to drive company performance by aligning our people and organizational development strategies with our broader business objectives. You will serve as a key partner to multiple business units, providing guidance on everything from talent acquisition and performance management to organizational design and union contract navigation. This is a hybrid position based in the Greater Denver Metro area, where you will spend one to two days per week on-site and the remainder of your time working remotely.
A day in the life
- You will partner with line management to provide expert HR guidance, analyze workforce metrics, and develop tailored programs that improve morale, productivity, and retention.
- You will manage complex employee relations issues by conducting thorough, objective investigations and ensuring that all documentation and counseling remain compliant with legal requirements.
- You will lead key HR initiatives across the organization, including workforce planning, talent management, compensation reviews, and training programs to ensure our teams have the skills they need to succeed.
Who you are
You are a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of human resource disciplines and a passion for building healthy work relationships. You bring the following qualifications to our team:
- A Bachelor’s degree in human resources, management, business, or a related field.
- At least 6 years of experience successfully resolving complex employee relations issues.
- Professional certification, such as a SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR, is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency with HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems, with specific experience in UltiPro or UKG being a significant plus.
- A comprehensive understanding of full-cycle talent acquisition, compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, and federal and state employment laws.
- Fluency in English and the ability to work effectively in a trauma-informed environment.
Why you'll love it here
We are dedicated to fair and equitable hiring, and we offer a salary range of $78,000 to $98,000 per year for this position. Beyond the paycheck, we provide a robust benefits package designed to support your life and career, including:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance.
- A 401k retirement plan with a company match.
- Generous paid time off and 9 paid holidays, including Juneteenth and Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
- Opportunities for professional development and free licensure supervision for those in clinical roles.
- Access to Employee Resource Groups to connect with colleagues who share similar life experiences.
- Participation in our gainsharing program, which offers bonuses when the organization meets its annual goals.
- A fun, community-focused environment featuring local sports leagues like dragon boat racing and volleyball.
