About the Role
We are hiring for a PC Network Support Technician to join us as a contractor. This is an on-site position where you will play a vital role in managing our network operations and providing essential desktop support. You will be responsible for the health of our servers, endpoint devices, and overall network integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage infrastructure operations and implement security protocols across our servers, desktop computers, and various endpoint devices.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair personal computers and network equipment, including servers, cabling, and hardware connectors.
- Act as a primary point of contact for users by providing technical support, maintaining trouble logs, and instructing staff on how to effectively use our network resources.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in mid-level technical support. We require a candidate who is comfortable with the following:
- Proven experience in network operations and troubleshooting complex hardware and software issues.
- A solid understanding of security protocols and the ability to manage infrastructure effectively.
- Proficiency in maintaining network diagrams and detailed technical records.
- The ability to evaluate user needs and provide expert recommendations regarding future hardware and software investments.
- Fluency in English to ensure clear communication with our team and users.
