Payroll Executive at BWG Foods

We are excited to invite you to join BWG Foods, a leading force in the Irish retail sector. We own and operate iconic brands such as SPAR, EUROSPAR, MACE, Londis, and XL, partnering with independent retailers to support over 1,000 stores across the country. With more than one million shoppers visiting our locations every day, our reach is significant. Beyond retail, our wholesale division includes BWG Foodservice, Corrib Food Products, and our extensive network of Value Centre and 4 Aces cash and carry branches. As our H2R division continues to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Payroll Executive to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in Ireland.

What you'll be doing

• You will manage the end-to-end payroll process for a variety of independent retailers and businesses within our Payroll Shared Service centre.
• You will utilize SAP Success Factors Employee Central and Employee Central Payroll, alongside other integrated technologies, to process weekly payments and deductions accurately.
• You will serve as a key point of contact for retailers, resolving payroll queries, supporting data management, and ensuring full compliance with Revenue regulations.

What you'll bring

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in payroll and a commitment to accuracy. We are looking for the following qualifications and skills:

• Proven experience managing payroll for both ROI and UK markets.
• A deep understanding of current compliance standards, including PAYE Modernisation.
• Proficiency with payroll software, specifically SAP Success Factors, and strong overall computer literacy.
• An IPASS qualification or active progress toward achieving one.
• Exceptional numerical skills and a high level of attention to detail when handling sensitive information.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks effectively, and adapt to changing processes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, combined with a customer-service-oriented mindset.
• Fluency in English.
