The role

We are looking for a Payroll assistant apprentice to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in France. This position is ideal for a student who is ready to launch their career in a fast-paced retail environment. You will work closely with our payroll and personnel administration manager and partner with an experienced payroll administrator to support our ongoing development.

Core responsibilities

• Collect, calculate, enter, and verify variable payroll data, including overtime and sickness benefits.
• Manage personnel administration tasks, such as processing final account settlements.
• Prepare and handle necessary departure documentation for employees.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A degree or current studies at the Bac +2 level in management or human resources.
• Previous experience in a payroll or human resources setting.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to quickly master our internal software systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, rigorous attention to detail, a strong sense of service, and great interpersonal abilities.
• Fluency in French.
