The role
We are seeking a Senior Partnership Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a field-based position focused on acquiring new business within the K-12 sector. You will be responsible for expanding our market share by identifying and securing partnerships with districts that do not currently utilize our programs. This role is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who thrives in a competitive environment and is based in Northern California.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan to identify new sales opportunities, manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, and consistently meet or exceed your assigned quota.
- Navigate complex sales processes by engaging multiple decision makers, delivering high-impact presentations, and effectively positioning our solutions against competitors.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and forecasts within our CRM, ensuring that every interaction is tracked and aligned with our broader business objectives.
Skills and experience
- A bachelor's degree is required, along with 5 to 7 years of experience in field sales, preferably within a remote setting.
- At least 3 years of dedicated solution sales experience.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, PowerPoint, and Excel, as well as experience using sales engagement platforms.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to manage territory profitability while staying informed on federal, state, and local funding options.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence high-level stakeholders through effective storytelling and strategic presentations.
Compensation and benefits
The salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000 USD. Actual compensation is determined based on your unique experience and skill set. We also provide a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being, including:
