Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a genuine curiosity about augmented reality. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in optical engineering or a closely related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience in optical testing or characterization.
- Proficiency in scientific programming languages such as Python, Matlab, or C++.
- Practical experience with optical system characterization, including polarization, resolution, and colorimetry.
- Familiarity with LCoS display principles and manufacturing methods.
- Bonus points if you have experience with Solidworks, optical design software like Zemax or Code V, and a background in transitioning designs to manufacturing.
Location
This position is based at our office in San Mateo, California. Our office is conveniently located within walking distance of the Caltrain station.
