Main Purpose of the Job:
Constantly optimize operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The position is responsible for the overall operations of the three operational units (BMU, Maintenance and Services) in the Visayas Mindanao region.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Formulates the department objectives and strategies for the region which are aligned with the Company’s overall strategy plan.
2. Manages the overall operations of the department for the region to meet yearly objectives and plans set.
3. Formulates and implements plans and programs to improve operations and customer satisfaction in the region.
4. Accountable for a) the respect of standard operating procedures, policies, guidelines and manuals, b) the timely and accurate reporting of attendance and key performance indicators and c) and the respect of professional safety standards and best practices, by each team member.
5. Monitors and evaluates the performance of the operations staff for the region.
6. Facilitates training and development program of the staff.
7. Coordinates closely with Sales Group and Technical Services regarding prospective projects, and the timeline for completion, for the region.
8. Coordinates with Finance regarding down payment schedule, procurement, logistics and deliveries of required materials.
9. Coordinates with Human Resources regarding manpower requirement including project managers, safety officers and workers for the project, for the region.
10. Manages project development from initiation to closure, in the region.
11. Establishes scope, deliverables, required resources and timetable of project in coordination with clients and other stakeholders.
12. Ensures that execution and inspection of project plans are carried out per specification and outputs are of high-quality construction work and services.
13. Handles the Bill of Quantity (BOQ) for local and foreign suppliers and for fabrications.
14. Formulates, reviews and revises procedures and forms in accordance with the Company’s Quality Standards Manual (QSM).
15. Responsible for the information and training of client’s personnel after equipment installation, for the region.
16. Render such other duties and services that may be assigned from time to time.
