We are currently looking for a passionate leader to join our global team and drive our developer community strategy forward.
What you bring
As our Senior Open Source Platform Manager, you will work on-site in Australia to oversee our open-source software and hardware presence. This full-time role requires a deep understanding of Linux, RTOS, and embedded systems to ensure our technology reaches its full potential. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Leading and mentoring a dedicated team to execute our open-source strategy and manage GitHub project releases.
- Collaborating with internal engineering and legal departments to determine appropriate licensing models and prepare code for public release.
- Engaging directly with external developer communities through platforms like StackOverflow and GitHub to provide support and gather project insights.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills. You should hold a degree in Computer Science or a related field, backed by at least five years of software development experience and three years in a management position. Proficiency in C++, Python, and Shell Scripting is essential, as is hands-on experience with Linux, OpenWRT, and Zephyr. You must be fluent in English and possess a solid understanding of open-source licensing compliance. We value individuals who are excellent communicators and have a proven track record of managing complex projects in a collaborative environment.
