At Fer-Pal Construction Ltd., we take pride in our thirty-year history as an industry leader in water main rehabilitation across North America. Our mission is to ensure that municipalities have access to clean and safe water, a goal we achieve through innovative technology and a dedicated team. As we continue to grow, we are looking for someone who shares our commitment to quality and professionalism to join our office team in Canada. We value a culture that prizes safety, family, and excellence, and we are excited to welcome a new member who will help us keep our daily operations running smoothly.
The opportunity
We are searching for a Front Office Administrator to serve as the backbone of our workplace. In this full-time, on-site role, you will be the first point of contact for our visitors and a key support figure for our various departments. Your work will directly influence our efficiency by managing everything from vendor relations to project-specific documentation. This position is perfect for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys taking ownership of administrative tasks that keep a busy construction company moving forward.
A day in the life
- You will manage the front desk by greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, and overseeing general email inquiries to ensure every interaction reflects our high standards of customer service.
- You will take charge of essential operational support, including processing purchase orders, coordinating complex travel arrangements, and maintaining accurate vendor compliance documentation.
- You will act as a central hub for project success by organizing office materials, updating our CRM system with client data, and managing important company records and courier services.
Who you are
You are a mid-level professional with at least two years of experience in administration or procurement. You possess a post-secondary education and have a strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Because our office location has limited access to public transit, you must have a valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle. You are someone who pays close attention to detail, communicates clearly in English, and enjoys maintaining an organized and welcoming office environment.
Why you'll love it here
Joining our team means becoming part of a growing company that invests in its people. We offer a competitive salary along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and future. You will enjoy employer-paid health benefits, an RRSP contribution and matching program, and access to in-house training to help you advance your career. We are committed to fostering a supportive workplace, and we are happy to provide reasonable accommodations for those with disabilities or medical needs throughout the hiring process.
