Role at a glance

We are seeking a Senior Observability Technical Lead to join our team on a full-time, remote basis. This role is open to candidates based in Czechia. You will be a key influencer in our database ecosystem, focusing on the usability and strategy of our monitoring tools while acting as a thought leader for our customers and the wider open-source community.

Your impact

Drive product strategy by providing technical guidance, writing functional specifications, and contributing code recommendations to improve the quality and functionality of our observability software.
Establish yourself as a thought leader by creating high-quality technical content, including blog posts, whitepapers, webinars, and conference presentations.
Collaborate across teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer success, to support strategic sales opportunities and resolve complex customer escalations.

What you'll need

Expert-level proficiency with observability technologies, specifically Grafana, Prometheus, PromQL, and MetricsQL.
Deep technical experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL and Clickhouse.
Fluent communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and mentor others.
A willingness to travel internationally to represent us at major industry events and conferences.
