At Scholar Rock, we are pioneering the future of medicine by focusing on myostatin biology to treat rare and debilitating neuromuscular conditions. As a late-stage biopharmaceutical company, we are currently preparing for the potential launch of our lead program, apitegromab, which aims to transform the lives of children and adults living with spinal muscular atrophy. We are looking for a dedicated professional to help us bring these innovative therapies to the patients who need them most.
Role at a glance
We are searching for a Senior Neuromuscular Account Manager to join our growing sales team. This is a full-time, remote position that offers the flexibility to work from anywhere. You will play a vital role in our commercial strategy, reporting directly to the Regional General Manager as we prepare for a major product launch.
Your impact
- Lead patient identification and market development for spinal muscular atrophy by creating and executing a strategic plan for your territory to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and treatment centers, providing the education and support necessary to facilitate informed treatment decisions.
- Collaborate across internal and external teams, including compliance, medical affairs, and patient care centers, to ensure seamless access to care and remove logistical barriers for patients.
What you'll need
- At least 8 years of progressive experience within the biotech or healthcare industry, specifically in account management, field sales, or reimbursement.
- A deep understanding of the pharmaceutical landscape, including specialty distribution, patient support services, and the buy and bill process.
- Proven success in collaborating with cross-functional teams like clinical education and market access.
- Fluency in English.
- A valid driver's license, as this role requires significant travel.
- The ability to travel up to 60 percent of the time, including overnight stays.
- Prior experience in the rare disease or neuromuscular space is highly preferred.
