Role at a glance
This is a full-time, senior-level position based on-site in the United States. You will be at the heart of our operations, taking ownership of the complex, low-latency network systems that keep our trading strategies running smoothly around the clock.
Your impact
- You will architect and execute the strategy for our research, enterprise, and trading networks to ensure they remain ahead of the curve.
- You will take the lead on deploying high-performance infrastructure, focusing specifically on minimizing latency to maintain our competitive edge.
- You will act as the primary troubleshooter for complex network challenges, ensuring our systems stay resilient and performant during critical trading hours.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working independently and possess a deep technical background. We value candidates who bring the following expertise:
- Deep mastery of TCP/IP protocols and general networking architecture.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard hardware from vendors like Arista, Cisco, and Juniper.
- Strong proficiency in Python for automating network tasks and building monitoring tools.
- A solid grasp of the Unix/Linux network stack and command-line operations.
- Specific experience with multicast design within high-performance trading environments.
