We are currently looking for a Network Administrator to join our team in a full-time capacity. Since 2009, our proprietary PULSE platform has helped pharmaceutical companies optimize supply chains and ensure accurate patient dosing. As a subsidiary of Fortrea Holdings, Inc., we maintain a global presence with offices across the United States, Europe, and Asia. This position is based in our San Francisco office, where you will be expected to work on-site at least four days per week to help manage our critical network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available network workloads across our hybrid environments, including AWS, Azure, and on-premises systems.
- Proactively manage and configure network components such as routers, firewalls, switches, subnets, and load balancers to ensure maximum reliability and performance.
- Respond to connectivity issues and network outages promptly while participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation to minimize downtime.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical background and a commitment to operational excellence. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, though equivalent work experience will be considered.
- Three to five years of experience in network, systems, or cloud administration within a hybrid infrastructure, including at least three years of hands-on work with Cisco hardware like ASA and Catalyst switches.
- Proficiency in core networking protocols and services, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and routing.
- Experience using scripting languages such as BASH, Perl, or Batch to automate tasks.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA or CCNP are highly preferred.
- The physical ability to lift or move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
What we offer
We are committed to fostering a collaborative work environment where our team members can thrive. While we do not have specific salary information to share at this time, we offer the opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced, mission-driven organization that supports vital clinical research. We are an equal opportunity employer and value the diverse perspectives our employees bring to our ongoing success.
