We are looking for a Senior NetSuite Engineer to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis. At Balsam Brands, NetSuite ERP serves as the core platform supporting order management, warehouse operations, inventory control, fulfillment, procurement, and customer service. In this role you will lead the design and ongoing enhancement of custom solutions that keep these critical systems running smoothly and help us deliver joyful experiences to customers around the world.
Responsibilities
- Design and build custom NetSuite solutions such as SuiteScript 2.x workflows, custom records, saved searches, and RESTlets that streamline business processes across the organization.
- Develop responsive React applications that connect seamlessly with NetSuite APIs, delivering intuitive interfaces for internal users.
- Create and maintain integrations between NetSuite and external systems using RESTful APIs and middleware, while continuously optimizing customizations for performance and scalability within governance limits.
Requirements
- Five or more years of hands-on NetSuite development experience, including SuiteScript 2.x client scripts, user event scripts, scheduled scripts, RESTlets, and map/reduce scripts.
- Five or more years of React development experience building complex single-page applications, along with strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, ES6+ features, and state-management tools such as Redux.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or equivalent academic achievement or work experience, plus advanced knowledge of object-oriented programming principles and RESTful API design.
- Familiarity with SDLC methodologies including Agile and Scrum, demonstrated ability to work independently, and a commitment to continuous learning and AI literacy.
What we offer
The base pay range for this position is $124,787 - $155,984. In addition to competitive compensation, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
