The opportunity
We are expanding our development capacity in Romania and need a senior .NET Backend Developer on a contractor basis to help us deliver reliable, scalable SaaS solutions. You will join a newly formed team that works in close partnership with our existing hubs, translating business requirements into clean, maintainable code while shaping the technical direction of our products.
A day in the life
- You design and build new backend features in .NET Core, write well-structured REST APIs, and keep our SQL Server databases running efficiently.
- You meet with the Tech Lead and product colleagues to discuss architecture choices, review code together, and decide how new requirements can be implemented in a clean and scalable way.
- You keep an eye on performance, add unit tests, refine CI/CD pipelines on Azure, and share useful findings that help the whole team improve.
Who you are
You bring four to seven years of hands-on backend experience with C# and the .NET ecosystem, including .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Web API. You are comfortable with Entity Framework, LINQ, REST API design, and relational databases such as SQL Server. You know your way around Git, write unit tests as a habit, and have worked with Azure services and CI/CD pipelines. Familiarity with front-end technologies like JavaScript, Vue.js, or React is a plus, as is experience in Agile teams. Upper-Intermediate English, both spoken and written, lets you collaborate smoothly across our international offices.
