We are now looking for an experienced developer to strengthen the way our customers work inside Microsoft Excel.
What is this role?
This is a full-time, on-site position based in India. We are seeking an executive-level professional who will own the design and ongoing evolution of our Microsoft Excel integrations.
What will you do?
- Partner with product, design, and engineering colleagues to translate user needs into clear specifications for new Excel plug-ins and features.
- Build and refine custom Excel add-ins using VBA, COM, and .NET technologies, including intuitive interfaces, custom functions, and data-automation capabilities.
- Connect these plug-ins to external data sources and APIs, then test, debug, and optimize them so they perform reliably across Excel versions and operating systems.
What makes you a great fit?
You bring at least eight years of software-development experience, with a strong track record creating Microsoft Excel plug-ins. You are fluent in VBA, COM, and the .NET Framework, and you understand the Excel object model, worksheet functions, and event-driven programming. Experience shipping COM add-ins, XLL add-ins, or Office JS add-ins is important, as is comfort with Excel automation, data manipulation, and reporting. Beyond technical skill, you communicate clearly, collaborate across teams, juggle priorities, and stay current with the latest Excel-development trends. English proficiency is required.
