Motion Designer at Lightspeed Commerce (FR)

We are looking for a creative Motion Designer to join our global brand team at Lightspeed. Key outcomes

• Create original, engaging video content for a variety of channels, including social media, television, digital advertising, product demonstrations, and corporate events.
• Collaborate with our internal creative team on animation, motion graphics, audio selection, color correction, and video editing.
• Optimize content impact by resizing and adapting videos for diverse platforms.
• Develop storyboards to guide projects from initial concept to final delivery.
• Maintain high quality standards and ensure brand consistency across all visual assets.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and work cross-functionally to execute creative ideas.
• Manage your own project timelines effectively while incorporating feedback from project managers.

Requirements

• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your creative capabilities.
• Between 2 and 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite.
• A proactive, positive approach to the creative process and a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• A preference for candidates based in Montreal who are comfortable working from our office 3 days per week.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Preferred qualifications

• Proficiency in additional tools such as Cinema 4D, Blender, Final Cut, Pro Tools, Ableton, or Figma.
• Experience with real-time video production.
• Strong illustration or artistic skills.
• Fluency in French, German, or Dutch.
