About the Role

We are seeking a Mortgage Product Specialist to join our team in a full-time, mid-level capacity. In this position, you will serve as a vital link between our product, engineering, and implementation teams. You will help us refine our platform by testing functionality, configuring complex integrations, and ensuring our software meets the needs of a modern mortgage workflow.

Key Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on the Vesta platform by testing all features and maintaining detailed documentation for test cases.
• Collaborate with our partner integrations team to configure systems and perform precise data mapping across various platforms.
• Work alongside our customer implementation team to develop comprehensive documentation regarding loan fulfillment workflows and product nuances.

Requirements

We are looking for someone with a strong background in the mortgage industry who is ready to apply their operational knowledge to a technical product. Your qualifications should include:

• At least 3 years of experience in the mortgage industry, specifically in roles such as processing, underwriting, closing, or managing these functions.
• Hands-on experience with at least two different loan origination systems and a track record of managing high volumes of mortgage originations.
• Technical curiosity and the ability to work effectively with engineering teams, including familiarity with APIs, XML, and tools like Postman.
• A self-starting attitude with a focus on precision, problem-solving, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $100,000 to $135,000 per year, supplemented by equity compensation. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being, including:
