Mortgage Loan Development Officer at AFFORDABLE MORTGAGE LENDING

We are looking for a Senior Mortgage Loan Development Officer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity within the United States. Directors Financial Group is dedicated to becoming the preferred lender in our markets, and in this role, you will serve as a key leader in our branch network. You will be responsible for driving our mortgage origination efforts by building strong relationships with real estate professionals and community leaders, ensuring our brand remains at the forefront of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Meet your assigned mortgage origination sales quotas by actively developing and leveraging a network of referral sources, including realtors, builders, financial advisors, and attorneys.
• Execute strategic sales and marketing campaigns in collaboration with the Regional Branch Sales Manager to increase deal flow and enhance our service levels for business partners and customers.
• Manage the end-to-end mortgage application process, from providing timely pre-qualifications to maintaining deep knowledge of secondary market requirements and government loan programs like FHA, VA, and Maine Housing Authority guidelines.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in mortgage sales and business development, ideally at a senior level.
• Strong proficiency in customer service and the ability to maintain effective working relationships with internal loan operations and retail teams.
• A deep understanding of residential mortgage products, regulatory compliance, and the ability to conduct business in full conformance with local, state, and federal laws.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to represent our company professionally during outside sales calls, networking events, and closings.
