The role

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Software Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States. You will play a critical part in developing applications that target Android, iOS, web, and Android Automotive OS systems, ensuring seamless communication between mobile devices and vehicle modules through Bluetooth and network protocols.

Core responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to build high-quality mobile applications for the automotive sector.
• Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code while supporting the full engineering lifecycle in a safety-oriented and highly regulated environment.
• Utilize Kotlin Multiplatform, Jetpack Compose, and SwiftUI to implement reactive and streaming architectures.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent level of professional experience.
• Strong proficiency in Android development frameworks and libraries.
• Experience using distributed version control systems, specifically Git and GitHub.
• A proactive mindset with a commitment to team improvement and a genuine passion for adopting new mobile technologies.
• Familiarity with reactive or streaming architectures is highly valued, as is hands-on experience with Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and SwiftUI.
