About the Role

We are seeking a Mobile Engineering Manager to join us on a full-time basis. In this role, you will lead high-performing iOS and Android engineering teams as they build and maintain the Gymshark app. You will be responsible for balancing technical excellence with the demands of our high-traffic sale periods and key brand moments, ensuring our mobile platforms remain robust, scalable, and engaging for our customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and mentorship to a multi-skilled mobile engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, respect, and continuous learning.
• Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to define the technical vision and roadmap for our mobile products.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle for our apps, ensuring high standards of quality and operational excellence through data-driven technical KPIs.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mobile Engineer with specific expertise in Swift, Kotlin, or Java.
• Demonstrated success in managing, leading, and mentoring engineering teams.
• Experience working effectively within an agile and fast-paced development environment.
• Strong understanding of mobile application performance metrics and the end-to-end app release process.

Location

This position is based in the United Kingdom. As this is a hybrid role, you will be expected to work from our GSIQ office in Solihull at least three days per week.
