About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a critical part in building and scaling the mobile applications that our members rely on every day. You will work within a fast-paced, collaborative environment where engineers have the autonomy to make product decisions and take full ownership of the solutions they build.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement efficient systems and engineering practices that facilitate smooth interactions across multiple product teams.
- Tackle high-impact, complex projects while mentoring fellow engineers and leading project crews.
- Contribute to our growth by participating in the hiring process and helping to refine our technical assessment standards.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have a strong foundation in mobile development and a desire to solve meaningful problems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 3 years of professional experience developing mobile applications using React Native.
- A solid understanding of cross-platform development, performance optimization, and industry best practices.
- Familiarity with native mobile development concepts for iOS and Android, as well as experience with app deployment processes.
- A willingness to work with Python and TypeScript when necessary, even if you are not an expert in those languages.
- A self-starting, entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for building high-quality products.
- Fluency in English.
