We are Apply Digital, a global partner dedicated to digital transformation for change agents. Our team of over 650 professionals works with major global brands like the NFL, Lululemon, and Kraft Heinz to modernize their organizations through product design, commerce, and data intelligence. We are currently looking for a Senior Mobile Engineer to join us on a contractor basis. This is a remote position, and we are specifically seeking candidates based in Latin America who can align their working hours with the Eastern or Pacific time zones.
Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications using Kotlin to ensure top-tier performance and user experience.
- Partner with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to build innovative mobile solutions that meet specific client goals.
- Proactively troubleshoot technical issues, debug complex problems, and optimize applications to ensure reliability across various devices.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong technical foundation and a proactive approach to problem-solving. We require the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of proven experience in Kotlin development and a deep understanding of Android native development.
- Expertise in React Native and TypeScript environments.
- Familiarity with Compose and a solid grasp of mobile engineering patterns and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently as a go-getter when tackling technical challenges.
