Mobile Application Developer at Collabera

We are looking for a Senior Mobile Application Developer to join our Merchant and Acquiring Processing team in Foster City, California. This is a contractor position with a one-year duration and the potential for extensions. Our team is focused on evolving mobile payment solutions and establishing an enterprise mobile enablement practice. You will collaborate with product management and UX teams to design and build high-quality payment and analytics capabilities for mobile devices.

Responsibilities

• Design, lead, and implement robust iOS and Android applications as a key member of our mobile UI team.
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to establish industry-leading mobile development standards and practices.
• Operate within an Agile scrum environment to execute product requirements while providing subject matter expertise across the mobile platform.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in mobile engineering and a commitment to delivering high-quality software. We require the following qualifications:

• Extensive hands-on experience in both iOS and Android application development.
• Strong proficiency with Java and RESTful services, which are critical for our current technical needs.
• The ability to work independently, mentor junior developers, and effectively review implementation designs.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is highly preferred, and a background in the finance or payments industry is considered a plus.
