We are looking for a Senior ML Research Scientist to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Our organization is dedicated to pioneering the next generation of wearable neurotechnology, specifically focusing on biosensing earbuds. By bridging the gap between fundamental scientific discovery and practical consumer or clinical applications, we aim to improve the understanding and management of various neurological conditions. You will work alongside a diverse group of medical experts, engineers, and product managers to turn complex data into meaningful health insights.
Key outcomes
- Lead and execute high-level research initiatives aimed at advancing our proprietary biosensing earbud platform.
- Utilize your expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and signal processing to decode complex biosignals.
- Create and refine algorithms capable of identifying both healthy and pathological neural patterns.
- Build and maintain robust data analysis pipelines to process large volumes of physiological information gathered during clinical trials.
- Interpret findings from pilot and clinical studies to inform our product development roadmap.
- Partner with hardware and software engineering teams to transition research prototypes into functional, market-ready products.
- Document our findings through peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations.
- Develop internal tools and open-source resources that enhance our collective research capabilities.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in neuroscience, machine learning, and algorithm development.
- Proven ability to apply advanced statistical analysis and signal processing techniques to real-world data.
- Strong background in conducting rigorous data analysis within a research or clinical environment.
- Professional proficiency in English to facilitate collaboration and technical writing.
