ML Engineer at Enmacc

The role

We are seeking a Senior ML Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in Germany where you will play a pivotal part in shaping our intelligence strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Platform, you will collaborate with our product and engineering departments to build high-impact products powered by machine learning and large language models. You will have the autonomy to identify new opportunities for innovation while leading data science initiatives that foster growth across our engineering organization.

Core responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of data science products, managing the entire technical workflow from concept to production while collaborating with engineering teams on platform integrations.
• Drive the integration of Generative AI and natural language capabilities, empowering our development teams to leverage these advanced tools without needing deep machine learning expertise.
• Champion data science fundamentals across the company and work closely with commercial teams to ensure our products deliver tangible value to our users.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should possess a strong background in a quantitative field and a deep technical toolkit. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python and specialized libraries such as scikit-learn, PyTorch, and FastAPI.
• Extensive experience with Generative AI, including working with large language models, vector databases, and frameworks like LangChain or Llamaindex.
• Solid understanding of deep learning models and the ability to deploy, maintain, and monitor models in production using MLOps best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and AWS services such as S3, Athena, and Bedrock.
• Familiarity with both relational and NoSQL databases, such as Postgres or DynamoDB.
• A result-oriented mindset with the ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
