ML Engineer / Data Scientist at 3H Partners

The role

We are looking for a Senior ML Engineer / Data Scientist to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position available to candidates located anywhere. We value technical versatility and intellectual depth, and we want someone who is truly passionate about building systems that can reason through complex strategic dependencies.

Core responsibilities

• Design and develop comprehensive ontologies and knowledge graphs in Neo4j that map industry dynamics and strategic frameworks like SWOT or Porter’s Five Forces.
• Architect the technical integration between our knowledge graphs and LLMs to create context-aware retrieval systems and advanced strategic reasoning loops.
• Take full ownership of backend implementation, from the initial concept and architecture design to collaborating with product managers and consultants to deploy scalable production systems.

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in the following areas:

• Expertise in graph databases, specifically Neo4j, and the ability to implement complex graph algorithms.
• Proficiency in designing data pipelines to handle the extraction and transformation of both structured and unstructured information.
• A deep understanding of knowledge engineering, including the creation of relationship taxonomies and formal ontology schemas.
• Experience with LLM integration and prompt engineering to combine graph analytics with generative AI capabilities.
• Strong communication skills in English to effectively document architecture decisions and present technical trade-offs to stakeholders.
