Role at a glance

We are searching for a Mission Operations Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. This is a mid-level position based in the United States, perfect for a professional who thrives on managing complex systems and ensuring mission success in a fast-paced environment.

Your impact

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of small spacecraft missions, ensuring all objectives are met through rigorous coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Take charge of real-time spacecraft operations from our mission control centers, including monitoring telemetry, conducting pre-launch rehearsals, and maintaining peak system health.
• Act as a primary responder for anomaly resolution, troubleshooting technical failures and developing contingency plans to safeguard our assets in orbit.

What you'll need

• A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a Master’s degree being a plus.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in mission control or spacecraft operations.
• Technical proficiency in Python and C/C++, alongside experience with Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
• A solid grasp of RTOS, embedded systems, and satellite operations software like STK or GMAT.
• The ability to thrive under pressure, make rapid decisions, and work flexible hours as dictated by mission schedules.
• Eligibility to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex data clearly to your teammates.

Perks and compensation
