Our platform currently supports over 600 companies and 2,200 professionals in trading power, gas, and emissions allowances. We are a fast-growing scale-up with a team of more than 100 people, and we are looking for a Mid-level Backend Engineer to join us on a full-time, hybrid basis in Germany. Responsibilities
- Take a lead role in planning and executing our product feature roadmap while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Design robust database solutions and evaluate our platform performance to implement highly scalable systems.
- Evolve our existing technical architecture and development workflows to maintain a modern, efficient, and high-performing system.
Requirements
- A degree in computer science, completed training as an IT specialist, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Hibernate, Spring Boot, and relational database design.
- Solid experience working with RESTful APIs and a clear understanding of the software testing pyramid.
- A you build it, you run it mentality with the ability to work autonomously and effectively in a result-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- We particularly value candidates with experience in Kotlin, AWS, and Infrastructure as Code.
