About the Role
We are hiring a Microservices Lead Architect for a full-time, on-site position. In this role, you will be the primary technical authority for our Vmall platform, overseeing the design and architectural integrity of our systems while collaborating closely with our global teams to ensure our technology meets the demands of a high-volume, international ecommerce environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead our system engineering team, taking full ownership of the architecture, solution design, and long-term technical roadmap for the Vmall platform.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including HQ architects, sales teams, and business analysts, to translate complex requirements into high-performance system designs.
- Manage the entire development lifecycle, from initial requirement gathering and security evaluations to implementation, testing, and final deployment.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep technical background and a proven track record in large-scale systems. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 10 years of experience in the information technology sector, with a minimum of 6 years dedicated to microservices architecture and design within ecommerce environments.
- Expertise in Java/J2EE development, including Core Java, Spring, Hibernate, ESB, Web Services, and JMS.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining highly scalable, distributed engineering platforms.
- Strong proficiency in both SQL and NoSQL database systems.
- Hands-on experience using UML for detailed solution design.
- A deep understanding of security considerations within complex system architectures.
Location
This position is based in India and requires an on-site presence.
