About the Role
We are hiring a Senior MES Application Engineer on a full-time, on-site basis. In this position you will maintain, enhance, and support our TrakSYS manufacturing execution system at the production facility, ensuring reliable data exchange with Kepware OPC UA servers and Canary Historian while delivering new features that improve plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and optimization for the existing TrakSYS MES installation to keep production running smoothly.
- Design, develop, test, and roll out new MES features and integrations that address needs identified by Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams.
- Collaborate with external TrakSYS developers, maintain clear documentation, and deliver user training so the system continues to meet evolving business requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least five years of hands-on MES application development and support, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong working knowledge of MES principles and direct experience with TrakSYS; proficiency in C#, .NET, Python, or JavaScript, plus SQL for query writing and performance tuning.
- Experience integrating OPC UA servers (Kepware preferred) and Historian platforms (Canary or OSI PI preferred).
- Familiarity with project-management tools such as Monday.com, Asana, or Smartsheet, along with excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of cross-functional teams.

This position is based on-site in the United States.
