Recognized globally by multiple analyst firms for our innovation and design simplicity, we are looking for a dedicated Member of Technical Staff to join our team in India. This is a full-time, hybrid position where you will help us shape the future of data management.
Key outcomes
- Take full ownership of feature set designs while collaborating with architects, product managers, and designers.
- Manage your own deliverables by setting clear scopes, timelines, and commitments.
- Implement features for both cloud and on-premise platforms based on customer and product requirements.
- Conduct thorough root cause analysis and develop code fixes to resolve complex product defects.
- Troubleshoot functional and performance issues, working closely with support and field teams to orchestrate patches and hot-fixes.
- Develop specialized tools that assist support engineers in diagnosing problems, ultimately reducing resolution time.
- Continuously evaluate risks and make data-driven decisions to keep project backlogs and plans on track.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering field.
- At least 3 years of experience developing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems on Linux and Windows platforms.
- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, or Go.
- Expertise in debugging and analytical tools such as GDB or the Python Debugger.
- Familiarity with Microservices and SaaS architecture.
- Practical experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency using development and tracking tools like GitHub, JIRA, and TestRail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders through clear articulation of design choices.
Preferred qualifications
- Prior exposure to the data management domain is highly desirable.
Compensation
We offer a hybrid work environment, allowing team members who live within a reasonable commute of our core offices to work on-site two to three days per week.
