What is this role?

We are hiring a full-time Product Engineering Manager at the senior level. The position is remote within the United States and centers on guiding the Product Engineering team that shapes the core user experience of Pi. You will combine hands-on technical work with people leadership, helping us deliver outstanding consumer-grade applications in a fast-paced startup setting.

What will you do?

• Lead, inspire, and grow a team of engineers through hiring, performance management, and day-to-day coaching while fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.
• Commit and review code across the stack, ensuring the technical quality of features built with React, TypeScript, Node, and Next.js.
• Partner closely with Product Management, Design, and AI Research to translate ambitious ideas into reliable, empathetic product experiences that users love.

What makes you a great fit?

You bring at least ten years of software-engineering experience building consumer-grade applications, including five or more years managing and developing engineering teams. You are fluent in React, TypeScript, Node, and Next.js, and you are comfortable jumping into code when needed. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills help you collaborate across disciplines and keep projects moving. You thrive when you can take initiative, remove blockers, and deliver results even when the path is not obvious. English fluency is required for this role.

What's in it for you?

The base salary range for this position is $200,000 - $300,000.
