Role at a glance

We are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States or the United Kingdom. You will play a critical part in maintaining the high-performance infrastructure required to train world-class large language models and serve our personal assistant, Pi, at scale.

Your impact

• Design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure that supports our pre-training, fine-tuning, and evaluation workflows.
• Adopt an automation-first mindset to manage infrastructure as code, ensuring our systems remain reliable and efficient.
• Jump into production environments to debug complex issues, patch problems, and optimize our technical stack for maximum performance.

What you'll need

We value hands-on experience and demonstrated technical ability over specific degrees. To be successful in this role, you should have:

• Extensive experience working with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP, as well as bare metal environments.
• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building applications with technologies like Redis and Postgres.
• Deep knowledge of container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with system monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog or Splunk.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment where you are comfortable wearing multiple hats.
• Fluency in English.

Perks and compensation

We offer a competitive starting annual base salary ranging from $150,000 to $250,000. In addition to salary, our benefits package includes:
