We are looking for a dedicated Medical Safety Physician to join our team for a 6-month contract. Role at a glance
This is a senior-level contractor position focused on delivering expert medical and scientific guidance for clinical research and post-marketing programs. You will work in a 100% remote capacity from anywhere in the world, provided you hold a valid medical license from your region. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and manage complex safety evaluations with precision.
Your impact
- Perform comprehensive medical reviews of trial-related adverse events and post-marketing drug reactions, ensuring all data is accurately coded and evaluated for causality.
- Provide expert medical oversight for aggregate safety reports, risk management plans, and regulatory submissions, including annual reports and periodic benefit-risk evaluations.
- Serve as a key internal consultant for our pharmacovigilance teams, offering medical support during safety monitoring committee meetings and clinical study reviews.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a self-starter with a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical research process. We require the following qualifications:
- A medical degree from an accredited institution and a valid medical license in your country of residence.
- Approximately 5 to 7 years of relevant experience in clinical research, specifically within pharmacovigilance.
- Hands-on experience with Argus safety software.
- Specialized knowledge in infection disease vaccines.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to effectively communicate with global stakeholders.
- A strong grasp of federal and local regulations regarding clinical trials, safety guidelines, and good clinical practice.
