We are Tutor Intelligence, and we are building the next generation of intelligent, accessible robot hardware. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our small, agile hardware team in the United States to help us design and manufacture innovative robotic solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and build a variety of hardware components, including robot grippers, enclosures, mounts, and auxiliary actuated devices.
Manage the full lifecycle of your projects, taking them from initial ideation and design through to sourcing and final production.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment where project goals shift frequently and you will often rotate between different tasks every few weeks.

Must-haves

Strong proficiency in CAD software, with a preference for Solidworks.
Extensive hands-on experience building physical hardware.
A genuine passion for mechanical design and engineering.
The ability to work quickly and maintain momentum on multiple projects.
A fast learner mindset with the confidence to figure out complex technical challenges independently.
Fluency in English.
