We are Tutor Intelligence, and we are building the next generation of intelligent, accessible robot hardware. We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our small, agile hardware team in the United States to help us design and manufacture innovative robotic solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design and build a variety of hardware components, including robot grippers, enclosures, mounts, and auxiliary actuated devices.
- Manage the full lifecycle of your projects, taking them from initial ideation and design through to sourcing and final production.
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment where project goals shift frequently and you will often rotate between different tasks every few weeks.
Must-haves
- Strong proficiency in CAD software, with a preference for Solidworks.
- Extensive hands-on experience building physical hardware.
- A genuine passion for mechanical design and engineering.
- The ability to work quickly and maintain momentum on multiple projects.
- A fast learner mindset with the confidence to figure out complex technical challenges independently.
- Fluency in English.
