What you bring
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Operations Engineering team on a full-time basis at our office in Santa Ana, California. In this role, you will leverage your background in automation, Solidworks, and injection molding to drive our internal processes forward. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing custom automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Developing new products and specialized tooling for internal use, such as imaging equipment and sonic welding solutions.
- Creating detailed engineering drawings and managing the technical documentation for our manufacturing components.
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this position possesses a strong foundation in mechanical and manufacturing engineering, typically demonstrated by a Bachelor’s degree and at least four to five years of relevant experience. You should have a deep understanding of mechanical automation and proficiency in CAD software like Solidworks. We value candidates who are naturally curious, highly organized, and capable of working effectively within a cross-functional team environment. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you will be collaborating with various departments to meet strict project deadlines. Experience with tool design and injection molding is considered a significant asset for this role.
