Role at a glance
We are looking for a Materials Engineer II to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a mid-level position based on-site in the United States. You will play a vital role in optimizing our advanced composite materials, working directly with our engineering team to turn experimental concepts into industry-leading solutions.
Your impact
- Drive the development of advanced composite materials by leading experimentation, sample preparation, and rigorous data analysis.
- Create and refine novel processing techniques and testing methods in close collaboration with our mechanical engineering team.
- Translate your findings into clear technical reports, standard operating procedures, and presentations for both internal and external stakeholders.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should be a proactive problem solver with a deep understanding of material fundamentals. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Materials Science, Materials Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of professional experience focused on the design and testing of materials.
- Proficiency in experimental design, data analysis, and Solidworks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to any audience.
- A collaborative spirit and the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
