What is this role?
We are looking for a Marketplaces Performance Marketing Specialist to join our team on a full-time, hybrid basis in the Netherlands. This is a senior-level position focused on managing and improving paid advertising across major marketplace platforms.
What will you do?
- Plan, launch, and manage paid campaigns on marketplaces such as Amazon, Zalando, About You, Farfetch, and Breuninger, handling daily operations including keywords, targeting, budgets, bids, and campaign structure.
- Build dashboards and reports to track performance against KPIs, maintain a harmonized ROAS model, and deliver actionable insights that improve profitability and forecast ad spend and revenue impact.
- Collaborate closely with Marketplace, Merchandising, Product, and Retail Brand Marketing teams to align campaigns with stock levels, promotions, pricing, and seasonal priorities.
What makes you a great fit?
You bring at least three years of hands-on experience managing paid ads on marketplaces or similar platforms, with a proven record of optimizing campaigns for ROAS and ACOS. Strong analytical skills, comfort with large data sets, and advanced Excel abilities such as pivot tables, XLOOKUP, and index/match are essential. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Analytics, Economics, or a related field supports your work, and you communicate clearly and confidently in English. Experience with agency environments or retail media networks is a plus.
