About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Writer to join our team as an independent contractor. In this role, you will play a vital part in articulating our impact on the energy sector. You will collaborate with our product, marketing, and subject matter experts to produce high-quality content that resonates with both technical and non-technical audiences, ranging from utility engineers to everyday energy consumers.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce a variety of marketing materials, including blog posts, whitepapers, long-form articles, email campaigns, and thought leadership pieces that highlight our solutions.
- Develop accurate, clear copy for our website, including product overviews, landing pages, and solution descriptions that simplify complex energy concepts.
- Create effective sales enablement and customer-facing collateral, such as case studies, presentations, and one-pagers, to support our go-to-market strategies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Proven experience in writing and editing technical or marketing content specifically within the energy industry.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to tell compelling stories and explain intricate technical topics with clarity.
- Proficiency in using AI tools to assist with brainstorming, drafting, and refining content while maintaining high standards of quality.
- A high level of attention to detail and a collaborative mindset for working within an embedded marketing team.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications, Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
Location
This position is fully remote and open to candidates based in the United States.
Compensation and Benefits
The compensation for this contract engagement ranges from $73,000 to $94,000 per year, based on experience, location, and qualifications. As a contractor, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work.
