PMA Consultants is looking for an experienced Senior Proposal Manager to join our team and support our national growth across diverse sectors like energy, transportation, and infrastructure. As a key member of our marketing department, you will help us win new business while maintaining the high standards that have earned us a reputation as a world-class leader in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
- Lead the full proposal development lifecycle, including scheduling, requirement analysis, kick-off meetings, content coordination, and final delivery.
- Manage and update marketing databases and CRM systems to foster better collaboration between our marketing and operations teams.
- Assist client managers by conducting market research and analyzing project opportunities or competitor activity.
- Coordinate our participation in industry events and monitor local professional organizations for new opportunities.
- Facilitate go/no-go decision-making processes and develop strategic win plans.
- Create presentation materials and assist team members with interview preparation.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all proposal-related communications with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain essential marketing collateral, including project sheets, resumes, and testimonials.
- Support broader marketing initiatives, such as content creation and social media efforts.
Must-haves
- A bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, English, Marketing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in proposal management, ideally within the A/E/C industry.
- Proficiency in using CRM software for opportunity tracking within an ERP environment.
- Strong experience in writing, editing, and finalizing proposals.
- Advanced skills in MS Office applications like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools, specifically Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Pro.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage tight deadlines in a team setting.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
