What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Marketing Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is a leadership-oriented role that requires a seasoned professional to drive our integrated brand and fan marketing initiatives both domestically and abroad. You will play a pivotal role in executing programming that meets our business goals and enhances revenue, all while working out of our facilities in Detroit and Allen Park.
What will you do?
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that support our business objectives, including coordinating with digital teams to manage advertising efforts.
- Collaborate with our Ticketing, Premium, and Events departments to align sales messaging and ensure a cohesive go-to-market strategy for our products.
- Lead our international brand strategy by managing agency relationships, driving fan acquisition, and overseeing on-site activations and influencer marketing in global markets.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have at least five years of experience in advertising or marketing, ideally within a professional sports environment or a multi-functional agency. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can manage complex projects and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization. Key requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in international relations, as this role requires international travel at least 4 to 6 times per year.
- Technical proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign, alongside strong writing and presentation skills.
- A flexible approach to your schedule, as you will need to be available for events, holidays, and weekends as our operations demand.
- A valid driver’s license and a passport for international travel.
