Our interdisciplinary team uses expertise in medicine, software, Big Data, machine learning, public health and mathematics to transform records from a diverse set of sources into enriched, research grade data which allows us to generate unique insights in a variety of disease areas.

The Marketing Manager, Events will lead the strategy and execution of OM1’s in-person and virtual

events program, including webinars, focused on driving brand awareness, lead generation, and

account engagement. The right candidate will exhibit a strong command of event management and

understand how events contribute to a commercial growth strategy.

They will closely partner with our marketing, product marketing, sales, and strategy teams to develop

an event strategy that supports our go-to-market plans and report results to stakeholders. This role

is part of the marketing team and reports directly to the Vice President of Marketing.

What You'll Do at OM1

Lead event strategy and execution that showcases our leadership position in the market

Help achieve business goals by creating events that will drive account engagement and lead generation, and build the brand

Create memorable, meaningful event experiences that leave a lasting impact

Manage priorities, develop effective processes, and partner with leaders across all levels to drive cross-functional event initiatives

Develop and present monthly and quarterly event marketing analytics reports and provide thoughtful recommendations based on data-backed insights and qualitative feedback

Collaborate with team members to design integrated programs (pre-event, at-event, and post-event support activities) and calls to action

Create event toolkits and manage event promotional swag and giveaways

Track event budgets and complete successful events within budget

Manage all event logistics from vendor selection and contract negotiation to event experience design and registration oversight

Infuse best practices, insights, and optimization strategies into all programs

Continue to strengthen, mature, and elevate our event strategy

What Experience You'll Bring

5+ years of event marketing experience

Strong desire to learn and grow

Strong organizational and project management skills, as well as attention to detail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Comfortable working with senior leadership

Self-starter, able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines

Analytical and reporting skills

Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and with external partners

Knowledge of lead flow process and familiarity with tools such as Pardot and Salesforce

Experience using events and communication tools

Experience in life sciences and/or healthcare a plus
