About the role:
As the Marketing Events Intern for Hashgraph, your job is to help grow our
community engagement program by actively reaching out to various meetup groups and
coordinating events with the goal of educating different demographics about the Hedera
ecosystem. You will serve as the liaison between meetup partners and Swirlds Labs on behalf
of Hedera as well as other ecosystem players. You will be working on the events team in the
marketing department.
You may find yourself doing all of the following:
- Assisting in the planning and coordination of community meetup events
- Conducting research on venues, vendors, etc. and providing recommendations
- Serving as the liaison between Swirlds Labs Marketing team and meetup groups
- Developing and refining community engagement outreach processes / best practices
- Collaborating cross-functionally with other teams in the marketing department, such as
developer relations and demand generation, as well as other departments in the
company, including developer advocate and engineering teams

- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple
tasks simultaneously - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Attention to detail and a proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Passion and or interest in Web3
Other skills that are great to bring with you but that we can help you develop:
- Knowledge in Hedera Hashgraph
- Creativity and problem-solving skills
- Some event planning and management experience
- Proficiency in another language is a plus
