The role
We are looking for a Senior Marketing & Development Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated self-starter who is eager to take ownership of our public-facing identity. You will be responsible for the strategic planning and execution of all our marketing, public relations, and patron communication efforts. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic non-profit environment and wants to contribute to the long-term growth of an established arts organization.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our mission, vision, and brand identity across all print and digital channels.
- Serve as our primary point of contact for media relations, managing correspondence and building lasting relationships with journalists and outlets.
- Actively identify and cultivate corporate partnerships to secure sponsorships that support our ongoing programs and organizational goals.
Skills and experience
To succeed in this role, you should be an independent and creative thinker who can manage multiple projects simultaneously while staying on budget. We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:
- Proven experience in marketing, including innovative strategies for print, web, and live events.
- A strong grasp of graphic design, visual storytelling, and the technical aspects of social media and web management.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds.
- Strong project management and analytical abilities, paired with a collaborative spirit and a sense of humor.
- Fluency in English is required for all communications and correspondence.
