Marketing Communications Specialist at Advanced Technology Services

At ATS, we have been dedicated to industrial maintenance since 1985, helping factories operate more efficiently across the United States, Mexico, and the United Kingdom. We are currently looking for a Marketing Communications Specialist to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity at our Peoria office. In this role, you will play a vital part in driving market demand by managing a variety of communications initiatives, including public relations, email campaigns, and industry awards, all aimed at boosting our brand presence and supporting our sales pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Manage our public relations strategy by building relationships with media outlets and industry influencers, while also drafting and distributing press releases to highlight company news and achievements.
• Take ownership of our email marketing efforts, which includes campaign management, list maintenance, automation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality messaging.
• Oversee our presence on online listings and competitor review sites, while staying current on digital marketing trends to ensure our brand remains competitive and visible.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should possess a blend of creative and analytical skills. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
• At least 1 to 3 years of professional marketing experience, ideally within a B2B corporate environment.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Demonstrated expertise in copywriting and proofreading, preferably using APA style.
• Familiarity with digital marketing tools such as Salesforce, Pardot, and Google Analytics is highly desirable.
• The ability to travel occasionally, as the role may require up to 10% travel.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced office setting.
