Please note that this position is a temporary role to cover for parental leave.

With our game portfolio and DLC roadmaps continually growing, we must ensure we are sufficiently staffed to meet the creative marketing assets required to bring our games to market. With our Experienced Marketing Artist going on parental leave starting in June 2024 until end of year, we are looking for someone who can fill in for the period of their absence.

As a Marketing Artist you will be working closely with the marketing team to create the various still assets we need to produce store pages and promote our titles. You are the subject matter expert in making sure the visuals hold a high graphical standard and follow the branding and requirements set by your many stakeholders. You will also be responsible for leading various meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback and share your progress.

What are the key responsibilities?

Creating and developing high quality still assets for our games. For example; key art, logotype, social media, storepage assets, advertisements, and homepage visuals.

Presenting sketches, concepts, and references to key stakeholders to ensure alignment between teams/studios

Working with fellow team members, and across teams to improve until final delivery.

Creating briefs for external partners, agencies, or stakeholders when necessary.

Recording and capturing in-game footage or screenshots when required.

Keeping project files organized, clean and properly labeled.

Ensure the status of your tasks is reflected in our project management system; Asana, including estimations, delivery dates, updates etc.

Managing your tasks effectively and ensuring stakeholders are updated with any changes to timelines.

What type of person are we looking for?

Experience as a graphical designer or content creator in the games industry - or adjacent industry.

Excellent graphic design skills

A great eye for image composition and eye-catching imagery.

Experienced in using capturing tools (Shadowplay, Elgato or similar)

Able to identify fresh, exciting ideas for digital content.

Strong communication skills, and ability to work well with people of all types

Experienced with delivering assets to clients and following creative briefs, melding your vision with those of your stakeholders

Strong time management skills, able to deliver quality content on-time and adapt to changing deadlines.

Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at the same time

Additional desirable technical skills & experience in motion graphics, 3D programming and print production

How does this role fit in?

This role is supported by the Marketing Creative Producer and the Creative Lead to whom you will turn to for creative direction and prioritization, but you will also work closely with the Content Marketing Manager and others from the marketing team.

Anything else worth sharing?

Aware of the general happenings in the games industry and able to recognize trends

Fluent in written and spoken English

The role is based at our HQ in Stockholm, Sweden, alongside the marketing team in a hybrid office/home environment.

Gaming industry experience and previous experience at an international games publisher is a plus.

Experience working with an open world game engine.

Interest in action games and in outdoor pursuits is a bonus.

The Stockholm location

Our Stockholm office is situated in Södermalm, the beating heart of the city’s game industry. It’s a physical representation of our games – the lush vegetation of Just Cause and theHunter: Call of the Wild meets corroded metal straight out of Mad Max.
