The opportunity
We are searching for a senior Market Development Manager to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. In this role, you will be a central figure in our commercial strategy, specifically focusing on the growth of our Pathfinder franchise. You will act as a bridge between our internal teams and the medical community, ensuring that our technology reaches the clinicians who need it most. By fostering relationships with key opinion leaders and identifying new market applications, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our product portfolio and driving our overall commercial success.
A day in the life
- You will cultivate and manage relationships with key opinion leaders, acting as a primary ambassador for our brand and gathering insights to inform our product development.
- You will partner closely with our sales and marketing departments to execute regional growth plans, proctor clinical cases, and lead our presence at major industry trade shows.
- You will analyze market intelligence and competitive trends to refine our strategy, ensuring our promotional and training materials effectively communicate the value of our innovations.
Who you are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep background in the medical device industry. You bring a unique blend of creativity and discipline, allowing you to navigate the fast-paced environment of a startup while maintaining a sharp focus on detail. Your profile includes:
- At least 5 years of experience in the medical device sector, with 3 or more years specifically in product launch, commercialization, or upstream development.
- A strong aptitude for building and maintaining professional relationships with key opinion leaders.
- The ability to travel up to 50% of the time to support clinical events and high-value accounts.
- Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative spirit that allows you to thrive in a matrixed team environment.
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience, with an MBA or master’s degree considered a plus.
