About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Market Analyst to join our team on a 3 to 6 month fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting deep-dive market research, identifying emerging trends, and providing actionable insights that directly inform our strategic decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive market research to identify key trends, threats, and opportunities within the rail industry.
• Produce detailed research reports regarding new high-speed rail routes and emerging competitors entering the market.
• Develop insightful presentations and dashboards to communicate findings and strategic recommendations to senior management and C-suite stakeholders.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you should have a strong background in data-driven decision-making and a passion for the travel sector. We are looking for the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field.
• Proven professional experience in market research, business intelligence, or data analysis.
• Expertise in statistical analysis tools and data visualization software, specifically Power BI and Excel.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills with the confidence to present complex data to board members.
• Previous experience in investment banking or venture capital is highly regarded, as is prior exposure to the rail or travel industry.

Location

This position is based in the United Kingdom and follows a hybrid work model, requiring occasional visits to our central London office.
